Penial setae

setae found in certain species, housed in a sack close to the prostates

Peristomium

The first segment of the anterior end of the worm containing the mouth.

Posterior

Also known as the "tail-end", this is the region of the worm further away from the clitellum.

Prostates

only present in a few families, always found after the clitellum internally, usuallybetween segments 22 and 27

Prostomium

A tongue-like lobe structure located above the mouth of the peristomium and is used as a sensory device.
